I made adjustments to my snow map above. The heavy snow area is basically the same but made some adjustments to the Ohio Valley area into the Plains.
In the East, I am still thinking the storm is going to hop over the West Virginia mountains and reform on the coast and head up along the coast east of New England. I think the GFS is still too far west with the low track and trying to bring warm air into PA and NY.
Overall this is a front ended heavy snow event with rates of 1-3 inches per hour and heavy ice in areas just west of the I-95 corridor from Baltimore to Boston. I still think the big cities will see some snow but how much depends on the track of the low. Philly and NYC I can see having 6 inches.
