I have an Ambient 2902. Was 22 at 4pm but up to 27 now. I’m in Northern Virginia near Dulles Airport.
Henry, you are usually expressing your unsatisfacton with the GFS, but keep leading with it as your model of choice. Why not show the ECMWF more?

Yes restrictions on how much I can show without paying a lot. Even Pivotal Weather does not like me showing videos with ECMWF

I think they are making very bold predictions. But keep in mind, I told you guys around March 9th we would see a big storm back in January. You can see the patterns but you can’t get too exact.
Henry, post some commenting guidlelines. If users violate them, pull their subscription!
I tried that already but they did not listen but that will be my next thing I will do if people continue to behave like children.
Today you said that you were not going into the polar vortex or the warm period in Europe because “it goes over people’s heads” or “hard to explain”. Henry, that’s why we are on this board, to listen to you explain it. Maybe have a 3rd video for the “hard to explain” stuff. IMHO

With the AO indicating a great deal of cold reaching the SE coast and the Gulf of Mexico, do you expect ocean temperatures to drop below normal in January? And if so, would coastal storms bring more snow east of I-95 than in past winters?

6:15. Ashburn north and slightly west of IAD. 20.7. Snow and SLEET. Mixing at 21! Very rare in my life experience and I’m older than Henry!
