Beautiful day, got some work done. Wanted to go fishing but to windy to mess with the boat.
We got lucky, we received .62 inches of rain. They were calling for 1-2″. I saw some areas got over 2″.
Boy my daffodils took a hit with this cold and a 1″ of snow.
Radar showed a few lightning strikes around Bedford and McConnelsburg in the snow.
Just had some lightning here in this snow.
FirstEnergy saying there was over 70 mph winds last evening. “FirstEnergy crews supported by outside personnel are to restore power after winds exceeding 70 mph tore through our service area on Friday. While downed trees and road closures can slow progress, crews will work 24/7 to safely make repairs and restore service.”
Poles are down in Cresson whole town is out.
HRRR was showing gust over 60mph when that went through around 7:00. Dead and weak trees don’t like that crap.
33 degrees, trace of snow and had .61 in rain gauge. One storm at 4:00 was pretty nasty but that was it for us. It Looks like only 5-6 days below normal this month. My grass is starting to green. Yesterday was the first day I could start Landscaping. I haven’t started this late in 15 years.
I was just getting ready to do some. The ground was just starting to dry out a little. I have a ton on limbs and clean up to do. Getting to old for this crap. lol
Had a Tree Swallow at my house in Southern CT yesterday
Haven’t seen any yet but I only see them at the golf course.
Under a tornado watch till 8:00. So I have been watching the radar and storm tracks all evening. Once in a while I see Tornado pop on one of the tracks. They aren’t there very long. But this last line coming isn’t dying down much as it gets closer.

Nov. 1st to fall back. Did you see the temps for next weekend and the following week? Get any snow next week it will disappear as fast as it came.

NWS changed its totals for here. They went from 5-9″ to 2-5″.
In Bucks County, NSW adjusted down slightly from 16-22″ to 14-20.” Not significant, though.

Looks like we are break now. Nothing but a few flakes. It will pick up if and when the low moves towards the coast. Then the wrap around will throw us some more. But till then its a good time to take miss prissy out to potty. lol

1″ of fresh snow 36 degrees and chipmunks are out. That is usually a sign for me that Spring is getting closer.
6:15 and I can still see across the road. It’s the little things.
Looking at all the snow totals for my area by weather models, apps, Accuweather, NWS, Henry, Bernie etc… , I’m going to get anywhere from 1″ – 8″ LOL
