A lot of forecasts calling for a warm winter in NJ. Honestly I don’t believe anything more than a week out
The 18z still has a 3-5 inch storm for the mid Atlantic lol. Just not up in Maine.
I love winter and the snow. I run a commercial snow removal company and garbage business in the Tristate and metro area. But I like the now in general.
Henry what can we expect for NYC and northwest jersey ?

Same. As soon as the SOI values go positive again all hope will be lost once more… The indices response to the SOI values…and as you said the GFS and Euro are not seeing anything just yet
Guys but the SOI is going back up, so all the will be gone in 1 day.
I was thinking, it’s like your better off everything saying it will be warm. It’s so up and down and so wrong, it’ll prob be the opposite
I think we’re done until at some point in the future the weather goes back to normal

I don’t think we will see a flake of snow in NYC this winter. I have never seen winter this snowless ever. What a shame.
So at this point how could u really expect snow.
What I don’t get is, hear me out. The Hudson River used to literally freeze. I mean it’s 50 in December at this point. It’s literally raining up into Maine. Has the Great Lakes even froze over yet, have they even gotten snow in the mid west. It’s extremely minimul. There really just no cold air anymore.
Great Lakes state has snow in the upper western peninsula and that pretty much it. It’s been warm!!! Lakes are wide open. Ground is soft.
I highly doubt there will be any snow in nyc for this winter. It’s beyond way to warm, again I don’t think we’ll see snow again at any point.

You can barely even get snow in Maine and that’s literally Canada, and it’s December, that’s a legitimate issue.
I don’t think New York City and nj will ever see snow again honestly, maybe but very rarely.

I live outside of nyc and we just don’t get those cold spells you need to see snow anymore. It’s just way too warm.
It’s getting hotter and hotter, I guess snow is out of the question from here on out in NYC metro area
