We have not yet hit the 100 deg.mark at my location in the west Las Vegas Valley, but temps are trending in the low to mid 90s now each day. The air mass is very dry current;u with a dew point of only 11 deg. Thus, even with the 90+ temps, the low humidity makes it feel more like the mid 80s or so. I do hope you folks in the Northeast get some spring wx soon. I remember some years past where I lived in Centre County, PA where it was cool and showery in the spring and even into the summer and like Henry, I struggled to keep up with the lawn.
