After gusty storms Tuesday in the central and eastern portions of the Las Vegas Valley, we are on the western edge of a plume of monsoonal moisture that is helping fuel more thundershowers and gusty storms today. A light thundershower just passed through my area. a while ago at around 14:30 PDT. What happened earlier in the week looked indicative of a strong down burst causing power outages and a significant dust storm. This is likely to continue through the evening hours, but so far, tomorrow looks dry.
