This has been the hottest day so far this summer in the Las Vegas Valley. I had a max temperature of 107 today while the airport was well above 111. The forecast high was expected to be 110 to 115 today. An excessive heat warning is in effect through tomorrow. The monsoon moisture and storms have been well east of here from extreme east AZ into NM. It looks like we may miss out on most of the monsoon moisture this summer as our season for that pretty much is over by the end of August.
