While the Midwest is about to get a late season blizzard, we have an excessive heat watch starting Thursday where we could reach 100 deg. If this high verifies, it will be the earliest 100 deg day on record for the Las Vegas area.

Today is cooler than yesterday, but the trend will be a rapid warm up from here. Looking at the longer range, temperatures are expected to be well above average as a heat dome builds in the Southwest. It is starting to look like it may be a long hot summer this year for the Southwest.
