For once the Mason Dixon Line seems to be the main focus for this weather event coming through. Cool and windy rain with moderate to sometimes heavier bursts of rain at 9;00A.M.
Lightning and thunder with moderate rain at my house west of Hagerstown at 7:25 A.M. this morning.
Oakland MD. currently 75 and a high tomorrow of 77. A cool place to be in the summer and a cold place to be in the winter. Elevation 2400 ft.
Hagerstown 0.75 inches of rain since midnight and close to 95 Thurs. and Fri.
Looks like we are heading into the dry season early this year with no rain forecasted for the next 7-10 days and temperatures gradually inching towards 90 by the end of the week for north central MD.
Almost 4 inches of rain for Hagerstown since last Thursday also. I have found it is a good time to space my perennials around that have started to spread their boundaries.

Finally, a rainfall, a real soaking rainfall, that is running up the I-81 corridor from Winchester to Harrisburg.
Showers to the north and showers to the south. Temperature dropped 10 degrees in the last hour but no rain from Martinsburg to Chambersburg. Same old, same old.
Oakland MD currently 37 with snow showers. Upper 20’s there tonight.

Oakland MD. upper 30’s tomorrow with snow showers. Upper teens to low 20’s tomorrow night. Currently 36 there with a mixture.
Upper 20’s projected by NOAA for Hagerstown this coming Monday night April 20.
According to NOAA, upper 40s on Tuesday and mid 20s at night for Hagerstown.
Temperature has dropped back to upper 40’s and upper 20’s tonight according to NOAA. Same deal tomorrow but maybe a tad warmer tomorrow night. I hope it doesn’t snow in April this year as I am yearning to move my annuals outside.
Snowshoe had 9 inches of snow in the last 24 hours to bring their season’s total to 101 inches. They usually have about 160 inches in an average season. One season they had over 250 inches.

Hagerstown officially 0.2 of snow in town and about the same, maybe 0.5, at my place about 3.5 miles west of town on the Old National Pike (RT 40). Currently 27 with 12.2 inches reported in the last 5 months.
