Radar showing snow but nothing yet, dew point pretty low still.
Euro has us getting .17″ of moisture this weekend @ single digits that might be around 5″ of snow. I guess it depends on how fine it will be?
Should be good soon, next week supposed to a colder week around here. High teens and 20’s.

Yep I don’t mind some cold. When that cold digs it usually keeps the wet away from us except lake effect and clippers.

23 degrees, less than a 1/2″ of snow last night
HRRR has moved some of the snow closer to us tomorrow morning. Even the NAM has us getting a dusting.
19 degrees, received .26″ of rain and no snow but a few flurries.
Accuweather still sticking to their guns, 1-3″ for our location. LOL Nothing on the models but maybe a brief snow shower if that. Now Friday and Saturday a different story. Possible some snow on those days.

yes, as long as there is NW flow and the lakes are not frozen, it snows here. If it is NW flow for 10 days, i can get 10-20″
We get a little of it but usually just flurries or a light coating. Just enough sometimes to make the roads slick. I’m a few miles east of I99. Lake Erie is about 30% covered. Now I know the GFS and all models more than a couple days out are a joke. Especially the 18 and 6 z runs. But how can a model be so goofed up? When I click the sounding at the snow line the ground temperature is at 8-10 degrees. lol I guess at that snow ratio it would be coming down in buckets at that temperature with that much moisture.

I think they think we are going to get some heavy squalls. Could cause some bad road conditions.
PSU Weather World long shot for February that was made in November, is for it to be one of the 25th warmest February in PA. This is based on the fact that the Indian Dipole when so Negative in November and the February’s (80%) that followed have been above average warmth in PA. We shall see
28 degrees all night, what snow we got yesterday is gone. Just like the storms on a model we were supposed to get, all gone.
Snow Squall warning for Centre County till 4:45. The worst is in the area of Centre and Clinton county meet. Hope people on 80 and I99 are careful.

Earlier it felt like a Cold April day with a few flurries. Now it feels like January. lol
Woke up to 14 degrees, got a inch of snow. Mostly when the squall line that went through around 1:30.
Been sitting here on the phone and computer waiting for the wind to knock out the power. lol
Well the worst is over besides a little drizzle. Still freezing. Not a lot of freezing rain but enough sleet to make a mess. With the rain coming should make a real mess. Polish it off to a nice sheen just in time for freezing temps coming next week.

On every model I checked The sounding still showing mostly if not all sleet for my area on Friday. I’ll take that over freezing rain. I’m hoping the cold air moves even deeper our way. Models don’t show storm hanging around very long and that’s even better news.
