Not really holding my breath for snow in the PA mid Atlantic area this fall/winter…just a cool off would be nice..
Henry any changes in your September winter Forecast? A lot of noise about a warm winter in the East. Personally, I would rather everyone predict warm. Last year it was predicted cold and we got warm. Maybe everything is backwards. Up is down , left is right and warm is cold

Why do people even look at the Farmers almanac. How accurate is the Farmers Almanac? According to a University of Illinois study in 2010, the Almanac is only 52% accurate, which is basically the same odds as flipping a coin.
Is the GFSv2 a good long term model.? Always thought very unreliable far out. Then again it seems that lately you can trust any of these models
I might be mis recollecting, but I dont think there were any good long term (meaning > 1 week out) models to count on last winter. Others might have a better recollection….
One can only wish the winter forecast comes true. My understanding is as long as the La Nina stays week we have a fighting chance in the North East…
