25 in Luray VA, heard rumors of snow showers between me and Winchester VA yesterday. I can believe it.
Luray VA, about 11 inches in total before weight compressed it. All fairly wet snow with little to no dry snow. Temperature this morning was 22. Secondary untreated roads still iffy even after local plowing.
32 in Luray VA at 0630 this morning. Feels right for this time of year.
34 in Luray VA this morning, forecast to be 31 same time on Friday.
Just tried to watch and no audio for either video.
Shenandoah National Park (SNP) looks to have gotten from 4-6 inches this morning.
Flurries down here in the valley, but up on the Blue Ridge there was light accumulation, mostly gone by yesterday afternoon. Finally seeing local weather “forecasters” move away from the very warm temps that have yet to be realized, and lowered highs into the low 40’s for the near term.
I just read this in my local NWS forecast discussion.

True points. I am still doubtful they remember how to use anything other than the models. My current NWS office is now located in a heat island, so they have other issues to deal with.
My son just told me we were having snow flurries outside here in Luray, VA.
Yea man just had some flurries here at the Delaware beach.. great stuff
I found it mildly humorous that in my NWS forecast discussion, that they referred to the “outlying” models causing uncertainty in the long range forecast. The only true outlier is actually their own highly esteemed GFS model.
30 in Luray VA. Apparently more snow in the Smoky Mountains. Last that I saw was 4 inches.

40 at 0600, now at 0825 it’s 32 and dropping. Light snow with a little sleet thrown in to make it interesting.
It looks like the 6z models are trending west with the potential Big Daddy.
