Heavy snow and 23 degrees here on the North Shore of Long Island…
Seven inches, 29 degrees and light snow falling in NE Oyster Bay, Long Island… Nice snowman making snow:-)
Here as a temporary ‘snow bird’ in SE Florida since Wednesday….”cold”, didn’t get above 65 degrees here yesterday; So.. since I am here in Southern Florida, there NOW will be a BIG East Coast snowstorm in my absence.. with copious amounts of snow in my Long Island backyard.. bummer for an old snow lover like me …but you’re welcome

The actual recorded low last night here in NE Nassau Co., LI, was 6 degrees; the forecasted low was for 14 degrees. Maybe a bit of snow this Tuesday. That would be nice, before a forecasted slow warm-up.
Low 14 degrees, high 19 degrees today; around 2 inches of snow on ground; will it make it to Christmas??

I did get to use my boat until late October this year… Could have kept it in until mid November …and probably can put it on the mooring in….MARCH 2025!!! Who needs Florida??

Surprising 21 degrees this AM in NE Nassau County, Long Island….. Perhaps the predicted ‘rain’ showers will be .. snow showers here??
