29 degrees, 18 inches on the ground, snow still falling NE Nassau Co., Long Island, which is about 35 miles East and a bit North of Manhattan, NYC, and South of Connecticut.

Watch out for snow covered prayer rugs again on the sidewalks of NYC this weekend… ;-/

Here as a temporary ‘snow bird’ in SE Florida since Wednesday….”cold”, didn’t get above 65 degrees here yesterday; So.. since I am here in Southern Florida, there NOW will be a BIG East Coast snowstorm in my absence.. with copious amounts of snow in my Long Island backyard.. bummer for an old snow lover like me …but you’re welcome

The actual recorded low last night here in NE Nassau Co., LI, was 6 degrees; the forecasted low was for 14 degrees. Maybe a bit of snow this Tuesday. That would be nice, before a forecasted slow warm-up.

Low 14 degrees, high 19 degrees today; around 2 inches of snow on ground; will it make it to Christmas??
