NWS says up to an inch here today in SW Maine. It’s 38 degrees, 3 1/2 “, still snowing. Can’t get nowcast right, why talk about next winter? 😆 No April Fool today. 😜

Four below this morning in Limerick, Maine. 50 and rain Wednesday-Thursday. Spring is sprung.
37 degrees here in Southern Maine. Still foot and a half on the ground, high in the teens tomorrow First time in a long time 3 months in a row (meteorological winter) below “normal” temps. Hope we can do that this summer. 😊

Just got cable back after April 4th storm. Power was out for 4 1/2 days. Poor cell service still. 16” pasty wet heavy snow here in Southwest Maine. Nice now, snow gone, working on the mess. Photo is the road in front of my house after the storm.

About 11” total here in Southwest Maine; snow, sleet, freezing rain. Gonna be work cleaning this up, Rather have 2-3 feet of powder!
Seems like a lot of people here like snow and cold. Many years ago my wife and I volunteered at the Mt. Washington Observatory. Volunteers cook for the observers for a week and do a few other chores as needed depending on their skill set.
