Weekly Highlights – Snow for the Midwest, Coastal Storm for the Northeast

This week will start out quiet with just cold weather across the Northeast into the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. The West will be dry with the exception of Washington where more rain and mountain snows will hit throughout the week.

A snowstorm will develop in the Upper Midwest and cascade southeast into the Ohio Valley and Mid-Atlantic Friday into Saturday. The snow will start out as 1-4 inches snowstorm but dwindle out to a coating to an inch of snow across the Appalachians into the Mid-Atlantic.

A coastal storm will make a close pass to the New England and coastal Maine Friday. That storm could bring snow depending just how close the storm gets to the coast. I will be watching that very closely.
