Thank you Henry for at least putting it out there the possibility that it “may” get too cold to snow.
Snowstorms are a miracle of nature…all of the right elements have to come together perfectly for one to occur. Hopping all of the elements and timing comes together to produce a massive snow storm but I’m very cautious and I’m managing my expectations with weather science and data.
Jan 1977 was very cold in the east, but very little snow in NE and N Mid-Atlantic.. The few inches that accompanied that outbreak stayed around for weeks. Henry, are there any pattern similarities now?

Right now it’s my unprofessional opinion that the OA is too negative and extreme for and east coast blizzard. I think once the indices start to ease up a bit we may see something… could be around mid to late January
