NOAA currently for Hagerstown has posted for Monday night and Tuesday–Monday night snow after 1:00 A.M. low of 27. Tuesday snow in the morning and mixture in the afternoon high of 37. Subject to change of course.

Local forecast in CT had us under a Winter storm warning 6-10 inches of snow. Another FLOP: 2 inches with a thin layer of ice on top. Storm was supposed to last till 7-9 AM but was over at 4 AM. NWS blamed extreme dry slot and the upper level low being too strong to make the coastal low take over. Right…OK.
Next storm due Saturday night into Sunday morning in CT looks similar to today but local meteorologists calling for colder solution and moderate to heavy snow. It’s not for any specific time. It’s just a representation of what we used to see in the Northeast. Sorry to mislead anyone. These past few winters here have relegated this map to be placed in a museum.
