83 dew point 78, heat index could exceed 115 today ugh.
No rain at all today on Delmarva, well in de anyway, southern parts have had some. wound up with 4.5 inches at my house some places close to 7 inches.
Many areas in central Delmarva reporting 4-6 inches already, Several flood and flash flood watches and warnings showing up.
73 with heavy rain and thunder most of the night since at least 1:00am when it woke me up. Seaford, De. 1.46 officially so far, some areas especially here in Sussex County DE, and Dorchester County MD here on Delmarva seeing close to 3″ already.

Definitely! glad to see the rain.
Actually, got a little rain overnight, heaviest Friday into Saturday. looking like areas near me could get 6+ inches but I have a feeling it may be overdone. Then again there is a lot of moisture in the air right now.

I sound like a broken record but 78 with a dew point of 76. I really hope we get this rain tomorrow and Friday, we as many of us do, desperately need it.

Henry, it appears your thinking on flooding in the mid-Atlantic is very possible. Right now local sources here on Delmarva are calling for rain Thursday thru early Saturday with widespread 1-3 inches and local amounts to 6 definitely possible.

Oh I agree, I have been hoping for a pop up storm or anything, can barely water enough to keep the garden alive let alone the yard which is brown. I’ll take it

96 dew point 75 heat index 104 still. I have died and gone to hell.
Can’t get rain for nothing, always dries up right as it crosses the Chesapeake Bay.
75 with a dew point of 73
73 and the humidity is back for at least the next 5-6 days it looks like dew point at 69 right now
59 and no humidity for now. I’ll take this all summer!

In the 30 plus years I’ve lived on Delmarva I do not Rember a heat wave with this much wind. Dust blowing all over.

83 degrees this morning, Newcastle and Bear DE. both hit 101 yesterday, that’s north of me.
