I always was under the impression that the benchmark for the biggest I-95 corridor storms is just to the east of Hatteras. If inside of Hatteras, then snow-to-rain or all rain. Any thoughts on this from the experts on this site?
Benchmark is at 40N 70W. That location (approximately) is due south of Chatham MA (Cape Cod) and due east of Atlantic City NJ. It’s the sweet spot for storms to affect the I-95 corridor from DC to BOS with max snow for New England
