18z GFS, undependable of course, but showing a major uptick in snow amounts for Mid-Atlantic this coming weekend. Not a blockbuster but 4-8 is acceptable here when we have had only 9 inches all season in Hagerstown. By Friday at 12z or 00z everyone should have more confidence
Yeah unreliable is right, but we shall see what the 0z looks like…but the precip shield is further back west now then before
JB is saying with that trough moving back further west off the west coast should allow for the trough coming through over the weekend to dig more than the Euro is currently showing. If that is the correct solution he is saying, then this would turn out to be a much bigger deal further west and northwest of the I-95 corridor.
