Joel- Sussex county De.
NOAA all over the place here on Delmarva, Wakefield has Salisbury, 20miles south of me, snowing and icing until 4:00pm Sunday upped totals to 5-9. Here in DE, MT Holly has heavy rain after 1:00pm Sunday wiping out 6-12 inches of snow, I’m west and north of Salisbury where my kids live. Big difference.

Still mostly cloudy in Southern NV and much of Southern CA from the Pacific storm off the coast from San Diego. I took a picture of the sky that displays some of the virga.
I really enjoy your reports! I haven’t been out yet this fall/winter to work…REALLY miss Vegas winter…especially when Tennessee is expecting snowmageddon.!
Good morning, 23 degrees here, colder than forecast by a few degrees, NOAA has us 7-13 inches, local guy says 6-12 with some ice and a little rain too. Should shut the peninsula down for a few days.
Yesterday and today we have had mostly cloudy skies in Southern NV with seasonable temperatures; high temps in the low 60s and lows in the lower 40s and in some rural areas, the mid to upper 30s. The moisture coming through now will be the making of more storms east of the Rockies. On my mid-day walk, I notices quite a bit of virga at the base of…Read More
Good morning, 41 balmy degrees in slower lower Delaware this morning.
Calm before the storm?
Can only hope
I’m hoping so, there talking a lot of rain mixing here
Local weather guy who I really like since he’s pretty accurate is saying 12-18+ inches for a wide area of Delmarva.
All good.
Good morning, 11 degrees this morning. coldest this season so far.
Hagerstown 6 degrees with totally bare ground. With deep snow cover, we would be below zero most likely.
We are forecast to 5 degrees post storm, that’s about as cold as it gets here though a few times we have gone negative.
Good morning, everyone, 23 degrees this morning. fingers crossed on the weekend storm!
Good Morning. .
Good morning, 19 degrees this morning, only a trace of snow, watch the weekend but being cautious as I can definitely see this going to our south if the cold is that strong, but fingers crossed!
The GFS in the past has almost always started it’s extended with a storm too far south but if it phases, and the indices are showing it very well could, it will join the other models and come further north. If you want snow, you had better pray in your area it doesn’t end up too far north
very true
Morning
Finally, down to 33 with snow here. going likely be icy tomorrow.
41, rains ended for now, still calling for snow but I’m not really seeing it.
Henry, we all love the videos but if you’re not feeling well don’t be afraid to take a day off. I’m sure all of us understand.
Accuweather has for days had little to no accumulation here, this moring 1-3 inches of snow even as it has all rain for the entire day and warming up to 40. WTH??!
Most inaccurate. lol
I have WWA south of me, west and north nothing here keep in mind I’m on a peninsula. NWS saying only an inch or less here but more around me lol
We stay above freezing all night and first half is rain, then wet snow while still above freezing. Then 18 degrees overnight, typical Delmarva weather.
38 in slower lower Delaware this morning, Local mets not to impressed with tomorrow’s event, may sneak out an inch but there saying mostly rain. we will see.
Good morning
Looks like the 12Z runs the euro and Canadian of come west .
CMC always has been further west out 3-4 days ago. NOAA buying part of it now posting 20% chance of snow for Hagerstown and had posted for it to be sunny on Sunday.
just the preci field is bigger, storm is in the same place.
I like that!
Not far enough for Henry and myself. We might get a little tonight and tomorrow but nothing to right home about.
It used to be 3-4 days out you wanted the storm offshore as the GFS always corrected west, if it was looking perfect and four days out it would go west. Now who knows what sort of goofiness it’s up to.
00Z GFS has a nice 3-6 in my area Sunday, 06Z has an inch and is more back offshore. As it seems the Euro is too.
Let’s see what the 0Z and 12Z runs bring tomorrow, I’m not expecting a return to a big storm but at least we should have a true idea of what we have. I have seen many storms disappear for this area only to come back, somewhat anyway.
I’ll be very surprised if the storm doesn’t move around a few more times on the models, maybe it back to where is was but I doubt this is th actual correct solution.
