Fantastic auroral display tonight here in Maine. The sky is full of colours, even overhead; something you normally see in only the high arctic. Haven’t seen one like this around here since the 90s.
Did you get any photos? I could make out a little light in the sky here but also I’m in town with a lot of light pollution. Saw photos from in the country here in Delaware and it was a great display.
Appeared hazy gray veils until viewed with camera phone.
I attempted to capture some images with my phone, but they turned out poorly. I plan to try again tonight, weather permitting. If the 0z euro is further south then that would mean the storm is now south of the original track and all of the models are starting to agree… IMO

Great videos Henry! Always loved the way you explain things well. I used to watch you back on AccuWeather when i was still a child 😄😄
I wish the media would get the facts correct about the winds. Dora did not cause the winds. The storm was way too far south to even impact the islands.
Correct Henty..the storm was 700 miles south of the islands..it had absolutely nothing to do.with the winds yet the media runs with it.. And I even watched meteorologist on tv say.the hurricane was a reason.. Such bs
The wind fanning the fire was probably a result of the same general pressure patterns in the region that was steering the Hurricane far to the south, not the other way around.
Good point
SOI continues to drop.
