Already 50 sun in great snow hole Cumberland valley so Pa. 1/2 in snow from squall gone. Coldest windiest run I can remember with whooping 3 in snow with cold. Only moisture in last 6 weeks 2 events .5 in snow beginning of Dec and 1 in. 2 weeks later.

Let me remind everyone that the last time the GFS at 06z showed a snowstorm for the mid-Atlantic, 6 hours later when a full load of new data had been loaded into the 12z, that storm completely disappeared from the radar never to reappear on any future run of that model. That was fact not fiction like this run most likely is.
It will change every six hours till right before the event and it will be all rain with a mix of snow/sleet. Unless you’re located in upstate New York and Northern New England where it will be all snow

We have close to an inch of powdery snow. Anything is better than the last few seasons.

The front just plowed through here with a decent snow squall, temps went from 37 to 31 in just 4 minutes.

I been hearing and reading that since mid October. It’s been nothing but cold with a few warm days mixed in. Epic fail with the Euro showing warmth/ blow torch fantasy land predictions. Pattern recognition is one of the best tools not some model changing every 6hrs.
