Air quality has really fallen over the past couple of days due to large fires in CA. Very hazy and smoky here today and not much change is expected in the near term. Sky is milky white and sunsets and sunrises turn deep red withs these conditions.
Spring Valley has AQI of 80 with the latest report.

I’m back from my visit with family in the SF Bay Area; back from the cool and often foggy coast to the heat of the desert. Currently it is 102 deg. at 12:05 PDT and dew point of 31 as observed at Harry Reid International Airport (KLAS). It looks like highs this week will remain above 100 each day.
