NOAA just made this update to forecast : WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING…
* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE…Portions of central, eastern, and southeastern Massachusetts and northern and southern Rhode Island.
This may come close to blizzard conditions saturday afternoon

One of the coldest winters in a long time. I still haven’t gone above freezing.
We were at 32 the other day. Hasn’t been above freezing here since 1/22.
We had 9 days in January that the high never went over the average low for the day. That is cold
It’s been brutal. Since the end of September it’s been nothing but cool to cold. Not many warm days in between. I lost count of the endless morning in the single digits.
The ice is good and thick. Has a foot of snow on it but thick. Problem I’m not fishing in this happy horse poop. Tuesday supposed to hit upper 30’s.

lol I’m sure there is some that would like to shoot the groundhog. My Dad said in the depression days they ate young groundhog. I never tried it.

Finally warming up in Minnesota. We reach 18 degrees today with 20’s in sight for Minneapolis. The warmest we have seen in a month. Much more typical for this time of year

@blacklabsmatter We fish a lot at my father in laws house in Sayreville he lives right on the lake. It’s real private. There’s (2) other spots on Jernee Mill Rd.
