Warmer than what they thought, was just 45 a few minutes ago. Every time I look at the forecast, the highs for next week keep climbing. They are saying low 50’s now. January thaw better late than never I guess.

I don’t think these models know that lake Erie is frozen over.After the clipper it looks like they are showing some lake effect.
These models suck! I don’t trust any one of them unless it’s 1 or 2 out. Other than that nothing but garbage.
Unless they are predicting rain,almost always works out
Also snow cover is usually not built into morning lows.
6 degrees and windy. I guess the models were right and we had no going west with the storm.
Didn’t get as cold as predicted. Euro was off a degree others were saying about 10 below. Hit 0 before midnight then climb to 5 before daylight.
Gaining over 2 minutes a day now. Civil Twilight ends at 5:56 pm. February it really picks up daylight time. About 70 minutes by the end of the month. Even more civil light.

Belated good morning had to run. Finally got some ice but now a foot of snow is on it. Still isn’t safe. lol
I’m hesitant to go out ice fishing. Maybe in a few days. Fell last Sunday down my brick staircase removing snow. I’m still not right.
Yeah take it easy. I’ll be glad when we are close to normal temps again.

Got roughly 12″ with 1.28″ of moisture with this storm. I’m good for the winter. lol We got our one big storm no need for anymore.
Went from 7 to 10 degrees here in the last hour. Maybe the sleet will make it this far North for a little bit. I’ve seen many times before,where it got warmer than what they expected.

What happen to the high pressure keeping the storm more Southern track? Cripe sakes the models showing sleet to my house on the back end of it. Interesting, don’t mind a foot but not 18-20″. Sure going to break in my brand new snow blower attachment. Better than Ice.
sleet going to greatly modify snow totals for most of i95 corridor.. this was apparent days ago .. now weather channel just picking up on it ?! these storms are sadly , often over hyped ..everyone , including me, wants something sensational .. sleet storms are meh
Looks like all snow here but If the sleet is so close has to mean the warmer air could mess with the totals. I wish I could just sleep right through it and wake up Monday morning and be surprised. Just like Christmas. lol

What’s up with Hagerstown ducky? Still getting snow or all sleet and freezing rain?
It is looking like, keeping my fingers crossed, that the mix line will stay south of US 340 which is about 30 miles south of Hagerstown. If so, then we will be looking at 18-24 inches. If not then 12-18 inches. Next weekend could be worst. A lot worst. GOOD LUCK AND STAY WARM.
