I am absolutely loving the SOI values, bring on a mild damp summer for a change on the eastern seaboard it would be great for fire pits in the evening and cooking out on the griddle and grill without cooking yourself in the sun…
Definitely agree. hate scorching heat and humidity of summers here. love all the water but it comes with a price.
Going to need a damp summer as it has been very dry in NJ. We don’t any rain the foreseeable future. So much for April showers instead we have a drought.

Was excited to hear Henry say he might have a monthly weather and a beer to discuss the upcoming El Nino and the possible impact to next winter! He mentioned the analog year 2009-2010 which was a big winter for a lot of the Northeast including here in Rochester. I remember that winter having terrific sledding for winter lovers and horrific…Read More
39 currently. Tonight’s expected low 24. My hydrangeas will take a beating.
Cover them. I didn’t one year and a freeze caught them. Plants survived but no bloom that summer.
Thanks for the info. I been landscaping for 36 years.now. Unless, they’re Endless Summer Hydrangeas that bloom continuously throughout the season others varieties will not produce flowers every year. Everything is wrapped in burlap.
Freeze watch just issued or Burlington NJ Midnight to 9 AM on Wednesday
same here
Wednesday morning forecast temperature here is 20 degrees. I already lost my Forsythia and Azalea blooms when it got down to -13 this winter, Now i will most likely loose my Eastern Redbud flowers because they have started to open from the warm weather. A bad winter/spring for flowers here
But my perennials are lapping it up so far.
Bring on the El nino! Mild damp summer….love it!
Well, it’s been a great winter. Till we meet again in a few months. This pile been here since December
Did you set up a pool predicting the date of the snow pile’s disappearance like I suggested? PS; 42 frigging degrees in central OH. If it’s gonna be cold, it should snow. Otherwise, it’s just a pain in the butt.
I😂😂
