25° in Winston-Salem. Hoping to get out of my driveway today ( can’t shovel ice at my age) and get to the store to prep for our coming snow storm. I scattered mulch on the ice and let the sun do its thing to melt it- and it worked.
5 degrees in Hagerstown and I haven’t observed any melting yet today.
Sun? i haven’t seen the sun in over a week. it is snowing today just like it snowed yesterday, just like it snowed the day before.

I concur here in Cambria Co. It is nowhere to be found.

Spent 2 hours at Costco waiting to fill a propane tank- 2x longer because my canister had expired (who knew?) They were running out of propane as mine was filled. They ran out yesterday, too. North Carolinians are freaked out by the ice forecast!

Woke up to 56° this morning- 15 degrees warmer than yesterday. Temps to drop rapidly as front pushes through the NC Piedmont. Hoping for rain as we are in a moderate drought.
Envious of the snow reports from those of you up north. We’re on the temperature roller coaster here in NC- next week’s temps look to be in the 40’s, but today we’re climbing to the 70’s.
High yesterday 75°. Highs today, low 50’s. Highs tomorrow, 70’s. High the following day, low 50’s. These back door fronts keep you on your toes in NC!
Merry Christmas! After a low of 14° not that long ago, we’re headed into the 70’s today in Winston-Salem, NC. Growing up in SC, I spent many a Christmas morning barefoot and in shorts while we shot off firecrackers and held the annual bottle rocket was with the kids across the street.
