Southern Nevada continues to break temperature records for March with high temps continuing in the mid to upper 90s. It looks like there is no significant break in sight at this point. It is looking like this could be a long hot summer coming up, if not a record breaking summer.

Temperature has dropped back to upper 40’s and upper 20’s tonight according to NOAA. Same deal tomorrow but maybe a tad warmer tomorrow night. I hope it doesn’t snow in April this year as I am yearning to move my annuals outside.

80 Degrees today, got my asparagus roots planted and spinach in, rest still has to wait a few weeks.
i,start my peas inside in a,damp paper towel in a sealed plastic bag..they sprout in 5 to 7 days then I plant them as,usual..big difference.. You’ll get peas 2 weeks sooner
I started my marijuana plants already. Getting my marigold flowers seeds from last season rdy. Horse radish is coming up.
I do the same with my pepper seeds. Starting my beets as well.
started cucumbers, squash, zucchini a few weeks later.
I started my tomatoes, peppers and cabbage inside the second week of February, get tomatoes by late June usually.

We lived there for 26 years, and i don’t remember it being this hot so early….however………..I will take 100 with 10% humidity over 85 with 70%!!! Stay cool!
Good Morning. A much nicer 33 degrees this morning. i have been watching the Sunday forecast for the last 4 days. it started at 52 degrees. It was 65 yesterday. Today it is 76 degrees.
