March 9th snowstorm? Seems likely? Thoughts
2nd consistent run of the GFS that has it. Let’s sleep on it and see if the other models bite tomorrow
18z still has the storm…a bit stronger…hmmmm
I refuse to accept that another mid atlantic snow storm is going to happen! Not one of these storms has turned up the coast!

Coldest ensemble guidance for next Sunday shows highs in low 30’s while warmest ensemble guidance shows highs in the mid 60s. ???????????????????????????

Snow drought zone all winter! Only half the average in many of these areas; Overall a much colder season. Still waiting for the Big Daddy.
5 year drought for Hagerstown.
12Z GFS bullseye for the Mid-Atlantic March 10.
Not one other model is showing a snow storm for mid-atlantic and to be honest not showing storms at all. It seems to be whatever model shows the extreme is what people want to use and show for whatever purposes. We will not have a major snowstorm this coming weekend. Bookmark it!

No it’s what I see. If the gfs was showing a snowstorm and every other model was showing rain then everybody would be saying “gfs is in la-la land and it’s wrong” or vice-versa. But now that it’s the only one really showing a storm and a snowstorm at that it’s now the good model and every other model that’s showing rain or nothing at all is in la la land.
Yeah this is a lie…not happening…it’ll be gone on the 18z
Since none of the other models are showing it would be my guess. Watch all the other models show it and GFS doesn’t. It’s over done on precip amounts anyway.
There is a window there. -AO, -NAO, +PNA in MJO phase 2 on the kyle model. Even CPC now showing -NAO.
Should be all gone on the 18Z or mostly since 18Z is often opposite of 12Z or OOZ runs.

This week will bring some severe weather and snow. To start the week colder air will come down from Canada and will meet warmer moist air in the South, creating a battleground in the Mississippi Valley. On Tuesday, storms will develop in the Mississippi...

It’s March 2 and I still don’t see anything in the line of snow my way. It’s a good thing. I turned the page and I am thinking about gardening. 😳 😏 🥵 🤔🤭⛄️🚫
