GFS 2-2? Looks like a pretty good storm. Looks colder with more snow as of now. Don’t care about accumulation too far out. Interesting

Beautiful snowy view driving around the reservoir today
Actual weather madness out there! I measured 18” here in Westchester County but hard to truly tell bc blowing snow. My windows are covered and the wind is howling.
Wow!!!
Wow. I knew you were going to get hit hard.
Thanks for the update was hoping you are OK.
Thanks! We still have power here thank goodness.
Yuk, be safe
Joel- Sussex county De.
32 and still snowing, finer now, very windy, IDK how much yet, very hard to gauge with all the blowing and drifting but level 3 state of emergency, no driving permitted. 100,000 without power on the peninsula. trees down, it’s a mess.
Joel I’m by Lewes..somewhere around 18 to 20 I got trees down yup its a mess
Wow, I’m guessing more like 12-14 here in Seaford but it’s just a guess.
Sorry guys. Be safe!!! My brother just lost power in Rhode Island
I have a beagle who got hung up in the snow this morning. Had to dig a cattle shoot from the door to the yard to get her to poop. Yours looks like he enjoys this.
I have (3) girls. My little Jack Russel went out and was buried.
Everyone be safe today and God Bless. Take it easy out there

Where are you
Middlesex county NJ.
The NWS nailed it. Monmouth county got hammered. I heard some amounts up to 30”. I don’t know how true that is. My cousin in Jackson Nj near Six Flags says the snow is over his knee caps.
Freehold NJ 20” West Freehold 19”
Keeps going up. Almost to 30”
You could be looking at 30 inches when all said and done. Hope you are ready.
Yuk lol

You were all over this storm Henry. Good work.
Henry, Great call with the storm and with the winter forecast for this season.

Blizzard of 1888 – could this be NYC Monday?
I have a book on this storm somewhere. Do you know how much NYC got?
Surrounding suburbs got between 40 to 50 inches
Wow that really was a bad storm and with 80MPH wind gusts and 10 to 50 foot drifts to boot. Sounds like this storm won’t be as extreme but extreme enough wreak havoc.
The storm of 1888 is in my second book

Well, we got a Blizzard warning from NWS in Burlington NJ for 14 to 20 inches of snow. Pat on the back to Henry for calling this these days before anyone else here locally that though this storm was going to be significant.
Stay safe and enjoy watching it if you like snow. My brother lives in South Hampton.

*Flood Watch For Potential Ice Jams In Effect Through Friday Afternoon*
A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset.
Multiple rounds of heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms this afternoon and overnight could produce 1-1.5″ of rain in the watch area.
The amazing staying power of the snow. 6 weeks now.
Lots of water just sitting there… waiting! 😳😱😖
